How to quickly get rid of genital warts

If you are affected by unsightly and humiliating genital warts, we know how you feel.

We know how embarrassing and painful this condition can be and how it can affect your self esteem. How to get rid of genital warts fast is something many people would like to know. Many ways exist to do this. The methods used can range from surgical to non-intrusive creams.

If your wart causes you pain or looks unsightly, you can remove it, but the process doesn't work overnight. Over-the-counter treatments take time and patience; and even in-office treatments such as freezing require multiple follow-up visits. MedlinePlus recommends you treat your warts at home first, then see a doctor or dermatologist if they don't improve.

You can get an anti-viral treatment of Interferon alfa for genital warts. Unfortunately this treatment is proven to only work half the time so many people will have to get a second dose of the anti-viral. This treatment will also be a bit expensive. Getting cream from the doctor would be a more viable option.

Surgery
● Cryotherapy: This involves freezing the warts with liquid nitrogen by clinical staff. This kills cells in the warts and some surrounding skin.
● Cauterizing: This involves burning off the warts by clinical staff with an electrically heated probe, after numbing the area with a local anaesthetic.
● Laser Treatment: This may be done under general or local anaesthetic at the clinic. This can be usefull for treating areas with a lot of warts. The heat of the laser kills the cells.
● Surgery: Surgical removal of the warts may be done in hospital.

How to get rid of genital warts fast is a question that many people ask. There are many methods including creams, vaccines, anti-viral treatments and surgery but there is a faster method which can also be more effective than these.
